Class Supply Lists 2011 - 2012

Pre-K Class Supply List- available in pdf...

Please send the following items with your child on the first class visit.

  • A recent photo of the child that may not be returned.
  • A bath size towel for rest time. Please label with name. (No pillows or large blankets)
  • One large box of tissues.
  • One large roll of paper towels.
  • One bottle of hand soap.
  • One bottle of hand sanitizer.
  • One box of each large and small ziplock bags.
  • 1 set of weather appropriate clothes: pants, underwear, shirt, socks. Place in bag and label it.
  • One box of glue sticks.
  • One container of wet ones.

We are constantly replacing the following items. Donations are appreciated.

  • Printer cartridges HP#92 and HP#93
  • White or colored reams of copy paper
  • Stationary, cards, envelopes
  • White paper plates(Small and Large) and bowls

    We use community property, please do not label supplies. Your child's name needs to be on the composition notebooks, handwriting workbook & backpack only.

Please label the following items with your child's name

  • 10 pack of Crayola broad tip markers (classic colors) (label each marker with your child's name)
  • 24 pack of Crayola crayons
  • 4-pocket folders (red, green, yellow and blue)
  • 1 pair of Fiskars pointed scissors
  • 1 12" ruler with inches and centimeters
  • 1 school supply box (approximately 5"x 8")
  • 4 wide ruled spiral notebooks to be used as journals

    Community Property Listed Below: do not label with child's name

  • 4 glue sticks
  • 2-12 packs of #2 pencils
  • 1-set of washable Crayola water color ( 16 palette )
  • 1 - 4 pack of broad tip dry erase markers
  • 4 - large white erasers
  • Boys-2 rolls of paper towels, 2 bottles hand sanitizer and 1 container of Clorox wipes (no bleach)
  • Girls-2 boxes of Kleenex, 2 bottles of hand soap and a 2-pack Mr. Clean Magic Eraser

  • 4 folders with pockets and prongs (one red, one blue, one green, one yellow)

  • Planner - Students will need a planner which may be purchased in the school store.
  • Spelling Dictionary - Students who are new to Briarlake and do not have a spelling dictionary should purchase one at the school store. (Students who are returning should have one from first grade, which will be sent up by their teachers.)
  • DISCOVERY STUDENTS: 1 canister of disinfecting wipes for the Discovery room.

    • 2 EXPO or dry erase markers
    • 3 boxes of tissue
    • 1 bottle hand sanitizer or soap
    • 2 Model magic ( not clay), 1 white and 1 colored package
    • 2 glue bottles squeeze-type
    • 1 set of Crayola washable markers - 8 classic colors
    • 2 black and white composition notebooks
    • 1 box of band-aids
    • 2 containers of clorox cleaning wipes (Clorox)
    • 2 pocket plastic folders without prongs

    All supplies will be collected and stored for use by the whole class during the school year, so please stay away from very unique or customized designs.

    The following items can be brought in throughout the year, and are greatly appreciated.
