| Bus 1108
Retires |
Join us as we bid a fond farewell to
bus 1108. What a wonderful bus he has been...Bus
1108 is retiring after many years transporting our
children to and from school. Let's all wish him
well and a happy retirement!
Bus 1108 will now be Bus 1346--the
same children ride this new bus, the same route
still applies, just a new bus and number!
Happy "routes" Bus
1108!! |

Minutes |
For those of you who missed
the PTA meeting last week here are the minutes. We
want you to be "in the know"...October

| Teachers in
need |
Mrs.
Beth Rich, 4th grade teacher, needs our love and
support. Her husband was in a terrible car
accident several weeks ago and has been having a
tough time recovering.
Please keep the Rich family in
your hearts.
In
addition, several of our teachers and staff have
experienced losses in the past few weeks.
Let's keep Ms. DeFrancis and Mr. Nunn in our
thoughts and hearts as well.
When one
of our family members grieves we all
grieve. |

Team News |
Briarlake will continue to collect
cell phones and their chargers, headsets, and
accessories, all year long. The collection box is
near the front doors. These phones will benefit gorillas
from the Democratic Republic congo area. What
an easy way to reach out and help another part of the
world.
Ms. Berry, our librarian, is
collecting batteries all year as
well. We hope many of you are enjoying
the morning walks to school. Our safety patrols are
ready to punch a hole in your walking
cards each week. This week is
Week4. Remember to walk
or bike to school at least one day each week to get your card
punched for that week so that at the end of 10 weeks we
can enter your card into a raffle for a prize. Walk to
Win!
Thank you
Green
Team!
