Surprise, surprise, surprise...
After two years, a tremendous effort, lots
of hard work, and lots of money, our new playground is
complete and ready for play!
The Briarlake Beavers Playground is
officially open!
DCSS, headed by plant services manager, Ms.
Liz Epstein, was able to rapidly address our mulch
issue. DCSS removed the old mulch and
redistributed it to our walking paths and gardens.
Then DCSS replaced and spread
the new mulch on our playground
area--all today! Thank you Dekalb County School
System! Briarlake Beavers will be playing on their new
playground Monday!
Another BIG thank you goes out to Dr.
Culbreath and Sarah Cook and the playground committee, for
working so hard and handling with grace, unforeseen
complications.
We will announce the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
details as soon as possible.
In addition, students will come home Monday
with important information in their courier envelopes.
After this, the courier envelopes will come home every
Friday.
