Briarlake Elementary School is located in Decatur, DeKalb County, Georgia. Briarlake has been educating the children in our community for over 50 years. We have Pre-K - 5th grades as well as the
deaf and hard of hearing program. Briarlake is a 2002 Georgia School of Excellence and has
been awarded the 2003 Parent Involvement School of Excellence by the National PTA.
Briarlake is a small neighborhood school with a wonderful staff supported by our parents and the
community. Our PTA organizes events and activities throughout the year. We hope all of our families will find ways
to be involved and participate.

Submit those Box Tops for Education you have! Include your child's teacher's name, and the class with the most Box Tops submitted between January 9 and March 16 will win a cookies and lemonade party. The submission box is in the front office.

School Store
The school store is open Tues-Friday, 7:40 - 8:00 am. There is new merchandise arriving all the time, with plenty of fun things to brighten up your kids' desks and attitudes! Come check us out, and all proceeds benefit the PTA.
CARPOOL - now called "Drive Thru" - MAP and Directions here Please remember there are NO LEFT TURNS into the school driveways. AND TURN OFF THOSE CELL PHONES WHILE IN CARPOOL!!
We will be collecting ALL juice packets in the cafeteria once again. Remind your children to place the empty packets in the recycle box.
